In the name of Allah, praise is being to him, who blessed us with the idea of the Academy of health science (AHS), a dream that has just materialized, now harbors our graduates and students, who are taking care of our desperate ill patients. AHS has become a panacea for pain relief. The AHS spread its coverage into the depth of our deprived communities through its 15 state-branches while having its headquarters in the heart of our nation, Khartoum. We thank Allah who honored us to carry this role and appointed us to this great responsibility. We pledged to restore and maintain the skill-mix of the health team through scaling up the education and training of high caliber allied health professionals by providing state-of-the-art community-based training programs in collaboration with the different stake holders to address the needs in Sudan and beyond.
I am very pleased to extend my sincere thanks and gratitude to my colleagues here in the AHS, the members of the board of directors of the AHS, state-branches deans and to the entire AHS staff at both national and states levels, for their dedication and efforts in achieving the AHS goals dictated by its mission and vision.
D. El-Sheikh El-Siddig Badr.
