Libraries & Distant Learning

Due to the pivotal role of the library in the educational process, and to make use of the technology in learning, the AHS has established the libraries and e-learning deanship (LELD). To help in achieving the objectives of the AHS, the LELD has established a comprehensive centralized library that includes both conventional and e-libraries.
With the decentralization of the education process, the AHS is in the process of upgrading and establishing 15 comprehensive libraries to cover the 15 different state branches. Despite the decentralization of the educational process, the central e-library will be available online through the web for all the students in the different states. Besides the access provided by the WHO- Hinari, the e-library harbors a broad spectrum of e-books and educational material that are intended to enrich the educational process and to service as resources for  the students as well as the teaching faculty.

In addition to the e-library, selected courses will be offered on remote basis via the AHS interactive web-site. The AHS web-site provides distant-learning through the web for all the students in the different states. >recent LELD activities .
